Evergreen, symmetrical clumping sedge whose name comes from the German word for hedgehog. A tidy little plant for woodlands, containers, edges and mass plantings. Pretty seed heads in spring. Native to Europe.
Needs regular water during hot months and can grown in full sun to part shade.
