Pink Honeysuckle

Lonicera hispidula

Native. Also known as hairy honeysuckle. Can grow as a loose shrub but does best if provided with a trellis or wire to climb. Produces bright pink flowers in spring and summer that are loved by hummingbirds and bumble bees! Allow for good air circulation to prevent powdery mildew, as with most honeysuckles.

Grows in sun or part shade. Drought tolerant once established.
